More RV troubles. Grrr. The engine turned over this AM. But we had no auxiliary power for slides. We called the RV guy we rented from, then Ray walked around to get someone with jumper cables to try to give us a jump start. Don’t you just love men! I do! I just love to watch them gather around the RV’s in the AM. So after the guy in the truck tries to jump start us with no luck, another guy comes wandering over to see what all the hub-bub is about. He suggested plugging in. Wa-la!
On our way. We decided to drive straight to West Yellowstone. We entered Yellowstone through the South Entrance and drove over to the West. We saw a few bison walking along the side of the road. Checked into the Grizzly RV. Then called the “Repairs by O-B”. Bob showed up while Ray had gone to get a rental car. Bob fixed our battery switch then looked at our leaky toilet. He didn’t have the parts to replace but he could replace the 8yo toilet. Ray thought he better check with our RV dealer to make sure they would cover it. So he decided to call him back in the AM after getting permission.
As a treat we went out to dinner (funny – last night I asked if some time we could eat out – Ray said sure I thought about eating out tonight. I looked puzzled. He, in his man’s world, thought I meant eat out-side, in my woman’s world, you know, I meant out at a restaurant). We ate at Bullwinkle’s. And the mosquitoes ate us – holy cow – these mosquitoes are the worst I have ever seen. They are huge. Parker ate a Buffalo Burger. You don’t get those in Huntsville!
After a quick run to the market for essentials it was time for bed.

Okeedokee....you're getting closer and closer. So sorry about all the troubles with the motorhome....but it will make great stories of "do you remember". Wish y'all were already here....our mountains (the Olympics) still have a little bit of snow on them. What a fabulous trip this is and the guys will always remember it. So great to have done it this year...even with gas prices out of sight.
Believe it or not you can get a buffalo burger at the West End Grill(just in case you want some buffalo when you get back home) Sounds like you guys are having a good time. Enjoyed reading your blog! Headed to the the Great Escape tomorrow.
